two things were our main consideration for reception venue. first was food, second is location. we want our guest to enjoy the food and don’t want them to suffer the famous las pinas/alabang december traffic so the palms was our first choice.
we also considered fernbrook gardens but we’re put off by rates increasing even before it was build and the fact that their add-ons are ridiculously priced, imo. i’m sure it turned out beautiful (we only looked at artist’s perspective, that time) but it wasn’t for us.
we had a meeting with ann zablan, the banqueting manager in june and found her to be very accomodating and easy to deal with. she’s very flexible too with the package inclusions so we’ve decided to book the palms.
